Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC) held a benchmarking with Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al Ansari, President of the University, and a number of officers and officials from both parties.
The benchmarking process aims to build and strengthen cooperation with different local, regional and international bodies and institutions.

It also aims at building bridges of cooperation between the two parties, benefiting from the experience and services of the Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd Centre for Futuristic Studies at PMU, which will contribute to empowering and consolidating the culture of foreseeing the future among the employees of SPGC.


His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, affirmed the keenness of the General Command of Sharjah Police to extend bridges of cooperation with various scientific institutions, exchange experiences, and raise the level of performance on both sides, praising the efforts of Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University and the achievements of the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Centre for Futuristic Studies.


The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police added that holding benchmarking across distinguished authorities contributes to the development of police work and raises the efficiency of Sharjah Police personnel through acquiring experiences and improving performance, in order to enhance innovation, scientific research and knowledge transfer.


Dr. Issa bin Hassan Al-Ansari, President of Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University, gave an overview on the departments and branches of the Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Centre for Futuristic Studies, in addition to an introduction to the work mechanism of the centre.  He also spoke about the most important achievements of the centre, revealing future projects, including the launch of a master's programme in the field of futuristic studies.
