Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) announced, on Thursday, that the work system for public parking spaces in the city will remain unchanged, in light of the new work decision approved by the Sharjah Executive Council, adding that the system will be implemented next January.
Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazin, Director of the Public Parking Department at Sharjah Municipality, confirmed that public parking users are exempted from paying fees on Friday, with the exception of parking subject to fees on weekdays and official holidays.
Abu Ghazin explained that these parking lots can be inferred through the blue panels installed below the guiding panels, and they will remain subject to fees for the rest of the week, including Saturday and Sunday.
