Sharjah24: The finalists of the 24th Sharjah Award for the Noble Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah (SANQPS) began with the participation of three hundred candidates from the preliminary qualifiers from the qualified male and female citizens and residents in the various branches of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah competition organised by the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE).
The work of the finalists began on the twelfth of December and will continue until the twenty-sixth, in presence at the Establishment’s headquarters in Sharjah, in light of the continuation of its blessed path under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The Award has witnessed great success and participation of 1273 participants.
Commenting on this, Omar Al Shamsi, Director of the Holy Quran and Sunnah Foundation in Sharjah, stated that the Sharjah Award for the Noble Quran is one of the Establishment’s most prominent activities during the year.
Al Shamsi added that the preliminary qualifiers began in November and were held remotely through the Webex program, adding that in December the final qualifiers will start at the Establishment headquarters, with taking into account the precautionary and preventive measures.
Abdullah Al Hosani, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Award, indicated that the Award continued its remarkable role in consolidating the role of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment.
Al-Hosani clarified that the Award attracted in this current edition 1,273 application, and fulfilled the conditions, with qualification of 300 male and female contestants.
