Sharjah24: The West Asian Paralympic Federation (WAPA) organised a celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at Centro Sharjah, with the aim of honouring strategic partners, sports personalities from national sports leaders, institutions and sponsors who contributed to supporting disabled sports, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, former President of the Uae disabled sports federation , His Excellency Dr. Tariq bin Khadim, Vice President of the World Federation of Disabled, HE Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, and a large number of officials and dignitaries.
In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, His Excellency Dr. Abdul Razzak Ahmed Bani Rashid, president of West Asia Para Federation, has expressed happiness to honour the personalities, entities and partners who played a major role in supporting people with disabilities and sports in general.
Commenting on this, Bani Rashid added that His Excellency Dr. Tariq bin Khadim has received an official letter on Sharjah hosting the fourth edition of the West Asian Games, praising all the personalities and officials who were present at the celebration, wishing success to all.
