Sharjah24: The Department of Municipalities Affairs, Agriculture & livestock (DMAADL) celebrated its success in obtaining the international accreditation for the ISO certificate in Quality Management ISO9001:2015 and Innovation Management ISO560002:2019, accomplishing a new achievement added to the Department's record of achievements during the last period and enhancing the role of the Department in society.
The Department was able to obtain these certificates after fulfilling all requirements and regulations, contributing in gaining the integrated system for quality management and innovation after the outside audits of Quality Service Zurich.
On this occasion, Dr. Khalifa Musabeh Al Tunaiji, Head of the Department of Municipalities Affairs, Agriculture and Livestock, expressed his happiness with the Department’s success, stressing that this achievement reflects the Department’s efforts to improve the organisational and administrative performance of its works, in line with the goals of the Department of Municipalities Affairs, Agriculture & livestock. He has further confirmed that obtaining ISO specifications enhances the culture of innovation, creativity, quality of services, and performance standards.
For his part, Omar Al Shaiba, Director of the Strategy and Institutional Excellence Office in the Department, indicated that the application of the innovation system management specification enhances the Department’s ability to adhere to the principles of innovation.
