Sharjah 24: Khamis Al Mazrouei, Governor of Wadi Al Helo in Kalba city, affirmed that Wadi Al Helo has seen tremendous growth and will have brighter future on all aspects as a consequence of ongoing development initiatives.
He told “Sharjah 24” that Wadi Al Helo has been transformed from a desolate area with a rugged nature to a flowering paradise among the mountains, thanks to the visions and efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Al Mazrouei added that Wadi Al Helo today has a world-class infrastructure and services, including a massive network of highways and tunnels, modern housing, and government institutions, in addition to the various modern projects that boost its tourism potential.
He also highlighted that work is continuing on the Jabal Al Kitab Rest and Hanging Gardens, as well as a mountainous planting and afforestation project that would have a significant environmental and tourist impact while also enhancing the area's attractiveness.
