Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) opens the door for registration to participate in Wadi Al Helo - Kalba Run, which will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 in front of the archaeological site in Wadi Al Helo near the tower, in a strategic partnership with the Sharjah Women’s Sports and in cooperation with the Al Qudra Sports Services Company.
This event coincides with World Health Day, which falls on April 7 of each year, and there is an opportunity to participate in off-road running for distances of 5 km and 10 km through different categories, which are citizens, female citizens, and the open category for all ages, targeting at least 300 participants of both sexes in addition to The category of virtual (remote) participation from inside and outside the country, provided that registration is via the link http://www.eevents.ae/wadialhelo before Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, indicated that the series of community races for the Council continues to spread and promote the culture of individual sports and to attract young people to practice it to prepare a generation of athletes, in implementation of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
