Sharjah24: Lieutenant Colonel Abdulaziz Al-Hamoudi, Head of the Traffic and Patrols Department reviewed the preparations to mark the country's celebrations of the 50th National Day in the eastern region of the emirate, ensuring the provision of the highest standards of security and safety during this period, which is expected to witness a remarkable turnout by visitors and residents.
This came during his hosting this morning on the "Aman Ya Beladi" programme, which is prepared by Sharjah Police's Media and Public Relations Department, and broadcasts live on Sharjah Radio. The programme’s episode was presented by Captain Ahmed Al Hammadi and First Lieutenant Manea Al Naqbi.
Lieutenant-Colonel Abdulaziz Al-Hamoudi has highlihgted the Sharjah Police’s keenness to enhance the public safety, aiming to meet the comfort of its guests and residents, and provide high-quality services to achieve the quality of life for the UAE community. He also stressed the importance of coordination with specialised strategic partners, especially government institutions and departments in the region and Rafid Automotive Solutions to enhance public readiness.
Lieutenant-Colonel Al-Hamoudi emphasised the security and traffic readiness in the eastern region, which will witness the activities of the celebration of the 50th National Day of the UAE, stressing that the number of patrols has been doubled to regulate traffic and reduce congestion.
In a telephone intervention, Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department (CRPD) at Sharjah Police spoke about the security and traffic plan developed by the Central Region Police Department during the celebrations of the 50th UAE National Day, with the aim of providing a safe environment for visitors, which comes in line with the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior aim at enhancing security and safety.
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Naqbi, Director of the Competency Development Department at the Police Science Academy in Sharjah Police, spoke via the phone about the conclusion of the digital development project for competencies, which included the participation of 4450 members of the police from various ranks and specialisations, noting that this project included many development programs that will serve the security.
