"Aman Ya Beladi" reviews importance of combating drug problem

Sharjah24: Lt. Col. Majid Sultan Al-Asam, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department of Sharjah Police, and Lieutenant Colonel Amer Al-Harmoudi, Head of the Special Rehabilitation Center, reviewed the efforts made by the Sharjah Police General Command to combat narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and the extent of coordination and continuous cooperation between the state's anti-drug agencies, to limit their spread, in order to protect children from the danger of drugs, by implementing plans and strategies that limit their spread among members of society.
This came during the "Aman Ya Beladi" programme, prepared by the Sharjah Police (SP) Department of Media and Public Relations, and broadcast live on Sharjah Radio.
The two guests also talked about the community and security awareness-raising efforts for parents so that they are fully aware of ways to protect their children from the scourge of drugs, highlighting the efforts made by all state institutions by providing the necessary support to addicts. In a phone intervention, Colonel Muhammad Saeed Al Mansoori, Deputy Director of the Department of Awareness and Subsequent Follow-up at the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police, spoke on the phone about the awareness campaigns launched by Abu Dhabi Police to combat narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances to limit their spread.
