Sharjah 24: The Russian Heritage Week continues to receive its visitors until November 25, to present a group of performances, folk dances and handicrafts from the north of Russia.
This event is organised by the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), within the World Heritage Weeks Programme, at the Cultural Heritage Centre "Al Bait Al Gharbi".
Azhar Kubba, Head of the Committee for the Opening Ceremony of World Heritage Weeks in Sharjah, stated that the most important feature of the Russian Heritage Week in Sharjah is the daily artistic performances.
He added, in statements to "Sharjah 24”, that the performances are presented by teams from Moscow, and others from the Russian north, noting that the week also includes costumes that express each city, and its handicrafts, in addition to Russian cuisine.
