SIH to participate in Sharjah International Book Fair

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) is preparing to participate in the Sharjah International Book Fair in its fortieth session, to be held from 3-13 November 2021 in Hall No. 5, Suite 011, with more than 350 titles in various fields of cultural heritage, history, culture and anthropology, including modern and diverse publications that touch Various important issues and topics.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, said: “In line with the luminous directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah, and his lofty directives aimed at building bridges of knowledge through the book, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage is working to support the Arab and Emirati library produces valuable products that touch on various cultural, heritage and knowledge topics, with the aim of contributing a great deal to the book and publishing industry within the cultural project of the Emirate.

The signatures corner at the Institute pavilion will also witness the signing of more than 20 new books in specialisations related to heritage, history and culture, including: Features of the UAE's history through the writings of Western travelers and politicians and the value that suits all groups and ages in cooperation with the management of the traditional crafts center, including the doll-making workshop, the gypsum color workshop, in addition to the origami workshop.
