Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, organised a traffic awareness initiative at Al Kamal American School, including a package of awareness and recreational activities and programmes, in the presence of a number of students and the school’s faculty.
The initiative comes from the keenness of the Sharjah Police General Command to communicate with the various educational institutions in Sharjah, in order to spread the culture of respecting the traffic law and to acquaint students at various educational levels with the knowledge necessary to create a conscious generation.
The initiative included several activities assigned to students to acquaint them with the basic rules of traffic and the golden rule for riding the bus, in addition to identifying the indications of traffic lights and plates.
Sharjah Police General Command concluded the initiative by touring students in their police patrol, viewing the devices equipped with them, in addition to providing a number of tips and guidelines aimed at enhancing security and traffic awareness.
