Sharjah24: The Central Region Police Department of the General Command of Sharjah Police, in cooperation with the NMC Royal Medical Hospital, organised a health awareness initiative for its employees, to enhance the quality of healthy life, with the aim of educating affiliates about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles to reduce the risks of diabetes, encourage early diagnosis, and adopt healthy behaviors Preventive disease control.
Colonel Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Director of the Central Region Police Department, stressed that the celebration of World Diabetes Day aims to raise awareness among its members of the importance of early diagnosis of diabetes to avoid its chronic complications.
The initiative included providing initial medical examinations such as measuring blood sugar and blood pressure for employees, in addition to providing educational health consultations on the importance of permanent monitoring of blood sugar and adhering to a healthy lifestyle free of diseases.
