Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) held a joint coordination meeting with the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) at the Authority's headquarters, discussing ways of joint cooperation to contribute to developing services, overcoming challenges, and setting future plans to serve the residents of the smiling emirate, contributing in enhancing effective communication with the public.
The meeting was attended by Saeed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, Mr. Abdullah Al Shamsi, Executive Director of the Authority, in the presence of a number of directors of departments, Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director-General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, Rashid Al Obed, Director of the Authority, and a number of officials.
His Excellency the Chairman of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority stressed that the Authority is keen on effective and direct communication with all institutions and authorities in the Emirate of Sharjah, in implementation of the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council (SEC).
Al Suwaidi has highlighted the essential media role of the Authority, stressing that it represents an important media platform in delivering the media messages, contributing to increasing awareness and effective communication that promotes achievements and enhances Sharjah's position in all fields.
He added that the Authority is keen to provide all the technical capabilities necessary to support the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
In turn, Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director-General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, stressed the significance and remarkable role of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, lauding its distinguished efforts in providing services to all regions and residents of the Emirate of Sharjah, as well as all the development projects. He welcomed the coordination and joint cooperation in educating the public about the projects and initiatives of the Authority and the joint coordination between the technical departments between the two sides to overcome any challenges.
