Sharjah24: Under the patronage of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and in the presence of Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Chairman of the Ruler’s Office in Khorfakkan, Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Kalba, and Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Sharjah Sports Council will launch on November 11 the first edition of the Kalba Beach Games.
Outstanding marine shows will be presented with fireworks to entertain the audience at the first day of the event , in addition to its official activities that include the speech of the organising committee delivered by Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council.
The event holds number “7” logo and expresses its content directly, as it includes 7 games: football, volleyball, basketball, running, rowing, swimming and aquathlon, and its competitions will take place over 7 days, for a period of 7 hours.
The Organising Committee of the edition headed by Abdul Malik Jani and includes in its membership each of Yasser Al Doukhi, Director of Sports and Community Events Department in the Council, Director of the Course and the General Supervision Office, Saeed Al Mazrouei, Assistant Director of the Course, Chairman of the Support Services Committee, Abdullah Al Darmaki as Chairman of the Public Relations Committee, and Ali Al Marashda as Head of the Media Committee, Khalfan Ali is the head of the Marketing Committee, and Major Majid Sultan is the head of the Security Committee, while the technical committee is headed by Abdul Malik Jani, and its membership includes representatives of federations and clubs for the seven games.
