Sharjah24: His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, accepted the invitation he received to visit the Italian club Inter Milan from Argentine Javier Zanetti, the legend of the former club and currently the vice-president.
Javier Zanetti received Al-Hazami who was accompanied by His Excellency Khalil Ghanem Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorfakkan Football Club. Al-Hazami and Al Hammadi toured in the club and reviewed the facilities of the famous Italian club and the club's experiences.
Zanetti had invited the Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council during his visit to the UAE last September, during which he visited a number of Sharjah clubs.
During the visit, both sides discussed ways of sports cooperation between the club and the Sharjah Sports Council in several areas in the future. At the end of the visit, Zanetti gave his shirt as a souvenir to Al-Hazami .
His Excellency Issa Hilal Al-Hazami expressed his happiness with the outcome of the visit and praised the facilities and the club’s professional experience, emphasising the council's keenness to benefit from the experiences of international clubs in advancing the wheel of sports in Sharjah clubs.
