AKSC supports SCHS with half a million dirhams

Sharjah24: As part of the council's community initiatives to support the charitable and humanitarian agencies and encourage persons with disabilities, Al Khalidiya Suburb Council (AKSC) affiliated to Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) presented a donation check of half a million dirhams to the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS).
This comes as part of Al Khalidiya Suburb Council’s keenness to ensure its community efforts in supporting and developing services provided to people with disabilities, in line with the latest international practices, contributing in strengthening the roles of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, in line with the directives of Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, and the follow-up of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.

His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiya District Council accompanied by Mohammed Rashid bin Jarash, Vice-President of the Council, and a number of members and employees of the Council presented the check to the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services at the Council’s headquarters, in the presence of several dignitaries.

Emphasising the council's role as part of society in supporting the services provided by Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services to people with disabilities, Khalfan Al Marri confirmed that the donation comes within the initiatives of Al Khalidiya Suburb Council, supporting the humanitarian and charitable work, in line with the approach of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

The Council pointed out the importance of continuing to support the SCHS’s humanitarian services, aiming to ensure providing the latest technology supportive for the education of people with disabilities, within the framework of the directives of Sheikha Jamila bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director-General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.
