The meeting discussed many common topics related to traffic and roads in the city of Sharjah, including a proposal for paving parking spaces in Al Taawun; adding a new lane to one of the main streets in Al Sajaa Industrial Area; paving the road leading to the Specialised Dental Centre Sharjah; and proposals regarding the main streets in Al Taawun area. The meeting also discussed other topics including the development of the traffic system and provide traffic flow in all the streets of the city of Sharjah.
During the meeting, His Excellency Engineer Yousef Al Othmani valued the role of the Municipal Council in submitting the comments and suggestions of citizens and residents to the concerned authorities to work on finding appropriate solutions.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Hamad Al Helou, Chairman of the Traffic Committee, and Excellencies Dr. Khaled Al Nimr, Khaled Al Muhairi, Nasser Aboudi and Butti Al Shuwaihi, members of the committee, and from SRTA, His Excellency Dr. / Mohsen Balwan, Director of Traffic Engineering Department at SRTA, and Abdullah Al Ali, Acting Director of the Maintenance Department.
