Sharjah24: His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Batayeh Municipal Council (ABMC); and His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Saluma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Bataeh Municipality (ABM), received on Friday morning at the headquarters of Al Bataeh Municipal Council, Her Excellency Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, member of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), discussing means of collaboration.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various joint topics between them. His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah bin Halis Al Ketbi welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing sincere thanks and appreciation for this visit and praising the great efforts of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority, lauding their efforts in protecting the environment and preserving the natural diversity of wildlife in the Emirate of Sharjah.
His Excellency Abdullah Sultan bin Saluma Al Ketbi, Director of Al Bataeh Municipality, also praised the great cooperation with the Environment and Protected Areas Authority and its active role in the natural reserves in the Al Bataeh area, as well as the preservation of the environment and the sustainability of its resources.
For her part, Her Excellency Hana Saif Al Suwaidi, member of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) and Chairperson of the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA), expressed her thanks to the Municipal Council and Al Bataeh Municipality to ensure the cooperation between the three sides to achieve the joint goals, translating the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
Several topics of common interest were discussed during the meeting, on top of which was the afforestation campaigns.
