Sharjah24: As part of its participation in the Sharjah International Book Fair, Sharjah Police Research Center of the General Command of the Hardship Police organised a symposium entitled "The Penetrations of Modern Communications and Addressing them", in the presence of a number of officers and entities participating in the exhibition, as well as a number of visitors from authors, publishing houses and readers.
The symposium was presented by Brigadier General Dr. Khaled Al Hammadi, Director of the Police Research Center, where he pointed out to the importance of organising such symposiums to introduce the threats of cybercrime, and to review the seriousness of violations by users of social media platforms, which constitute cyber crimes in themselves according to UAE legislation.

Brigadier Dr. Khaled Al Hammadi addressed many topics that lead to the optimal use of communication, and their risk to the security and stability of societies, including the advantages and disadvantages of social media platforms, the areas of their use, the resulting and expected risks from the use of social media platforms, and ways to address these crimes.

At the end of the symposium, the Director of the Police Research Center expressed his appreciation for the attendance and positive interaction during the symposium.
