Sharjah 24: Within the first meeting of the Health, Labour and Social Committee in Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term, the committee examined the different works and continued efforts within the framework of its competencies in the field of social services, health services and the labour sector.
The meeting was held at SCC headquarters in Sharjah, and was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Musa Al Balushi, Chair of the Committee, and was attended by Daghish Rashid Al Ketbi, Obaid Muhammad Al Adb, Asira Butti Al-Qaidi, Moza Matar Dalmuk, Saif bin Ruwaijda Al Ketbi, and Dr. Saeed Al Tunaiji, in addition to Saif Al Ketbi, Secretary of the Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Musa Al Balushi, Chair of the Committee, explained that the Committee will intensify work during the third regular session of the tenth legislative term to be integrated with the vision of SCC and the efforts of SCC members to serve the community and tackle important issues, especially those related to health and social services.

His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Musa Al Balushi indicated, during the meeting, that the committee is satisfied with the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Prevention and all institutions in the first line of defense to preserve the health of society during the pandemic.

Finally, the Committee discussed visions on work mechanisms during the coming period, examined previous work, and prepared a number of programmes and visits.
