SHPD raises health awareness among SIBF's visitors

Sharjah 24: The Health Promotion Department (SHPD) of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah (SCFA) and its health support societies are taking part in the 40th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) at the Expo Centre, which is being organised by the Sharjah Book Authority under the motto, “Here's a book for you."
The participation aims to educate community members on disease prevention strategies and to encourage them to live healthy lifestyles and develop good habits that promote their health and safety.

In collaboration with Sharjah TV, the participation involves delivering a variety of awareness seminars, programmes, and health consultations targeted at various age groups, as well as presenting e-brochures, hosting interactive competitions, and several educative activities.

Eman Rashid Saif, Director of the Health Education Department at Sharjah's Supreme Council for Family Affairs, reaffirmed the department's commitment to participating in different health and educational community activities hosted at the Emirate of Sharjah and UAE, in accordance with the visions and directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah's wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, which aims to enhance the concepts of sound health patterns among all members of society in order to provide a better life that ensures the well-being, security, and happiness of society, in line with the UAE's national agenda, which views health as a national priority.
