Sharjah 24: Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) raised the UAE flag celebrating Flag Day, coinciding with the day of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, assumed the presidency of the UAE.
Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SCC, and several other members of the Council raised the UAE flag in front of the Council's building.
Al Suwaidi congratulated the leadership and people of the UAE on this occasion and expressed his happiness regarding the initiative of this celebration.
He stated that this celebration is a matter of pride, and how far the country has reached under our wise leadership’s patronage. It is an occasion to express the feelings of love and loyalty that the UAE citizen to the homeland, and the leadership.
