Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of the Intaj Centre, stated that the participation of the centre’s members comes as support for 13 families benefiting from the social security who were granted an "accreditation" license by the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), as a global gateway for their products, and to open outlets that contribute to improving the quality of marketing for their handmade products.
Productive families’ participation, in Booth 102 of the Emirati Village Pavilion, comes through four different packages, namely, the “Ibdaa” package, which includes handicrafts, the “Anaqa” package, which includes various clothes and accessories for adults and children, the “Atayeb” package, which includes food spices, and the Mahra package with traditional products.
The participation reflects Intaj Centre keenness to provide platforms for productive families, market their projects, and promote the idea of home production and the opportunities it provides to increase the income productive families.
It is worth noting that the production centre has developed an online store: https://intaj.shj.ae/estore/ to display families products enhancing the idea of social responsibility pursued by SSSD.
