Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of Intaj Centre, said that the workshop, which will be held virtually via Zoom platform, targets households’ members who benefit from home production programme at the Production Centre and those are beneficiaries of social benefits. Al Hammadi added that the workshop aims at encouraging the participants to enter the markets and support their businesses, initiatives and ideas towards success and sustainability.
Al Hammadi stated that the workshop also aims to promote the idea of home production whereas many opportunities are set to empower and increase the income of families benefiting from SSSD social assistance, helping them to have an independent and decent life.
The session hosts Zainab Al Raisi, e-marketing coordinator at the Department of Economic Development, to discuss e-marketing; while Marwa Hassan, from the Production Centre of the Department of Social Services, sheds light on the centre's online store, which aims to help productive families showcasing and promoting different products. The workshop also includes a presentation by members of the Intaj Centre on the experiences of families in production and electronic marketing.
Intaj Centre works to support productive families marketing their products by providing outlets for society members, including support for home production.
