The workshop also aimed at promoting the idea of home production as an opportunity for families benefiting from social assistance to increase their income towards independence, focusing on entrepreneurship and how to plan small projects through e-marketing outlets, e-marketing, and how to build low-cost small businesses leading to the implementation of major projects.
The session included an introduction by Dr. Sunny Medical Centre, as a support for the families of Intaj centre. This initiative comes from the medical centre in support of the social responsibility approach pursued by the Department of Social Services and private partners.
Zainab Al Raisi, e-marketing coordinator at the Department of Economic Development, discussed e-marketig success by selecting the right name, and turning the regular account into a business account.
Marwa Hassan, from Intaj Centre of SSSD, introduced the centre's online store, established in 2009, being a trademark, and works to help productive families by showcasing and promoting their products.
It is worth noting that the Intaj Centre participation in exhibitions and activities amounted to 1049 participations according to statistics in the first half of 2021.
