Supreme Council for Family Affairs receives delegation from SDAA

During the meeting
Sharjah 24: The Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, headed by Dr. Khawla Abdulrahman Hassan Al Mulla, Secretary General of Supreme Council for Family Affairs, received a delegation from the Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority (SDAA).
The delegation was headed by His Excellency Salah Salim Al Mahmoud, Director General of SDAA, Sheikh Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director of Studies and Knowledge Services Department, and a number of department managers. This comes with the aim of strengthening government partnership and explaining the mechanism of the management system. 

Her Excellency Mody Al Shamsi, Chairperson of Department of Family Development Centres , Eman Rashid, Director of Health Education Department, Hanadi Al Yafei, Director of Child Safety Department, Dr. Hessa Al Ghazal, Executive Director of the Sharjah Child Friendly Office, and the media team of the Cultural and Media Office of the council attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the stages of preparing the draft system and the work mechanism used in the field of documentation and archiving, which is based on developing SDAA’s strategic plan, developing and discussing aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of electronic archiving and benefiting from the expertise and competencies available at SDAA. 

Dr. Khawla Al Mulla stated that the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, with its different departments, will gain a great benefit in this cooperation, since archiving documents is a significant to preserve the memory of the nation, which is represented in the documents, some of which are historical documents of the Emirate.

For his part, His Excellency Al Mahmoud indicated that the SDAA seeks to enhance the governmental partnership between the two sides by introducing SDAA and its work and activities aimed at implementing the private document management system in government entities in the Emirate. 

His Excellency stressing that SDAA is working to transfer its expertise and harness all its capabilities to build an integrated system for preserving, organising and managing the council's documents to ensure the preservation of the goals and achievements. 

His Excellency also praised the leading role and qualitative achievements made by the council through the activities, events and programmes it launches to reach stable and effective families in the community. This reflects the visions and directives of the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.
