Sharjah24: Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in Sharjah organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, a training course for fishermen to obtain a marine driving license. The course took place at Khalidiya Suburb Council in Sharjah.
Abdulaziz Salem Al Suwaidi, Director of the Marine Sustainability Department at the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, affirmed that this course gathered fishermen of the Emirate of Sharjah and raises their information of many important topics , including parts of the boats, the developments in marine equipment, in addition to safety procedures during sailing and the identification lights.
Al Suwaidi emphasised that this course was attended by more than 70 fishermen, wishing all fishermen to participate in such courses that raise awareness on the latest developments in marine field .
