Sharjah children comes second in the WRO National competition

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children, an affiliate of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators won the second place in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) UAE’s National Robot Olympiad 2021, virtually organided and supervised by Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), from 1-3 October under the slogan "Powerbots - the Future of Energy".
The participation came within the "Regular Category" through the B20 probuilders team, which included Omar Muhammad Al-Noman from Khalidiya Child Centre, Khaled Ibrahim Al Hosani from Al Hira Child Centre, and Khadija Jamal Al Zarouni from t Helwan Child Centre in Helwan.

Aisha Ali Al Kaabi, Acting Director of Sharjah Children's Centres, congratulated the second-place winning team and said that  the Centre is pleased with the achievements of children, and this victory is a translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, and an affirmation of the great efforts exerted by the Sharjah Children keeping pace with developments and offering programmes and training courses in the fields of programming and technology, which are selected and presented according to the highest standards.

Al Kaabi concluded that the Centre is keen to continue efforts to further develop children's talents and qualify them for a better future.
