Sharjah 24: In anticipation of tropical storm "Shaheen" hitting the region, Sharjah Cooperative Society (SCS) announced the opening of its branches in the Eastern Region for 24 hours a day, allowing people to shop at any time.

According to Majid Al Junaid, CEO of Sharjah Cooperative Society, the co-op works to deliver all of the supplies required by inhabitants in the Eastern Region to meet the region's demands. To ensure the safety of all citizens in the area, the co-op has been fully prepared to provide various types of collaboration with civil defence, police stations, and the municipality.

While providing various products and food commodities that meet people's needs and keep their safety as priority, the Sharjah Cooperative Society's response to urgent developments is consistent with its societal responsibilities that stems from strategies and plans aimed at providing the best services to people, Al Junaid said.

He went on to say that the Co-op anticipated challenges in its annual plans and developed prior solutions in its strategies to ensure work continuity and meet people's needs, emphasising that the Co-op's work includes adherence to safety standards and procedures.
