Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command (SP), on Monday, signed an agreement with the Sharjah Cooperative Society in the Leadership Hall of the Officers Club, with the aim of opening outlets to provide catering services to inmates and protective custody centres at the Punishment and Correctional Institution of SP.
Such endeavour confirms the consistency of SP's visions with the strategic goal of the Ministry of Interior, to provide satisfactory services.
His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP), signed the agreement, along with His Excellency Majid Salem Saif Al Junaid, CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative Society, in the presence of top officials from both sides.
The agreement stipulated that the Sharjah Cooperative Society would open outlets to provide catering services to seven sites run by the Punitive and Correctional Institution, and two sites for protective custody centres, to facilitate access to services and supplies for inmates, and protective custody centres.
His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP), expressed happiness at signing the agreement with the Sharjah Cooperative Society, considering its one of the leading cooperative societies in the field of retail sales, and its possession of long experience in the field of providing the best goods and catering services.
For his part, His Excellency Majid Al Junaid, CEO of the Sharjah Cooperative Society, expressed pride of SP choosing Sharjah Cooperative Society as a commercial entity responsible for providing catering services, with the aim of meeting the needs of the inmates of the Punitive and Correctional Institution in Sharjah.
