Sharjah 24: The Department of Culture (DoC) in the Eastern Region (ER) launched a training course on the basics of novel literature, presented by novelist Dr. Al Anoud Salman, over two days at the Khorfakkan Literary Council, with the aim of promoting awareness and developing the skills of those interested in the arts of literary writing.
The novelist Dr. Al Anoud Salman, stated in statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the course includes several topics, such as the introduction to the art of the novel, the basics of literary writing, and the introduction of the most famous novels and novelists at the local and international levels.
She noted that the course enables the participant to learn how to develop an integrated plan for building a narrative text, through printing, publishing, marketing and selling.
On its first day, the course attracted a number of employees and those interested in the literary side, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Khorfakkan Municipal Council, and a number of government departments officials.
