Sharjah24: Mohammed Saleh Al Suwaiji, Director of the Eastern Region Management at the Sharjah Department of Culture (DC) , announced the organisation of 6 various cultural events in Eastern Region during September.
He emphasised in statements to “Sharjah 24” on the sidelines of a musical event organised by the department, at the Kalba Literary Council, The department is gradually regaining its activity in organising events according to its programme plan for the current time.
He stated that the first activity for this month was the solo performance done by a number of students of the Fujairah Academy of Fine Arts, playing of "qanun, piano and violin" instruments.
He added that the event was attended by Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Kalba, His Excellency Dr. Suleiman Sarhan Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Kalba, along with interested people.
Al-Suwaiji pointed out that 6 cultural and literary programmes will be organised this month in Kalba, Khorfakkan, Dibba Al Hisn, and Wadi Al Helo, while 8 events will be organised in October.
