Sharjah24: His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Sports Club (SSC)'s Board of Directors, His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, expressed his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Crown Prince and both deputies, and the Council Sharjah Sports Club and all the fans of Sharjah Club, on the occasion of the victory of the fencing team, which won the title of the 2021 Arab Club Championship.
In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”: His Excellency Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club, said that today we celebrate the UAE champions in the fencing game within the Arab Clubs Championship that was held recently in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Noting that 240 players participated in the tournament, the Sharjah Sports Club fencing team managed to achieve the championship for men and youth, and won the first and second places and a large number of colored medals.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Club confirmed that these results came after great efforts made by the management of individual games, the technical staff and players, especially during the period of the Coronavirus pandemic and the challenges faced in the training and preparation operations.
