Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP), chaired a brainstorming session organised by the Vehicles and Drivers Licencing Department (VDLD) of SP, at the Sharjah Old Cars Club building, with the aim of discussing proposals and development ideas.
This comes as part of the department’s plans to hold open dialogue sessions on an ongoing basis, towards making employees happy and enhancing their quality of life, in the presence of Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations at SP, Lt. Col. Khaled Mohammed Al Kai, Director of Vehicles and Drivers Licencing Department, Lt. Col. Abdulrahman Khater, Head of Vehicles Licencing Department, and a number of officers.

The brainstorming session reviewed a number of development ideas about the services provided, and the need to take advantage of artificial intelligence techniques at work in order to achieve the objectives of SP in line with the vision of the Ministry of Interior. 

The session also discussed the proactive services of SP to motivate employees and encourage them to think creatively, and to identify the challenges they face to upgrade the police work system.

His Excellency Major General Al Shamsi pointed out the importance of organising brainstorming sessions, as they are considered important platforms for exchanging views, ideas and proposals that advance job performance, which leads to its advancement in the services provided to the public.

His Excellency stressed the importance of integrating job happiness with the general leadership strategy, and focusing on the employees, noting that the aim of these sessions is to establish direct links between management and the employees, which is reflected in promoting positive values, and achieving flexibility and coherence in the performance of various tasks.
