Sharjah 24: Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Police Operations at the Sharjah Police, witnessed the first shooting championship organised by the Comprehensive Police Stations Department (CPSD) in cooperation with the Sharjah Police Science Academy (SPSA).
This came in the presence of Colonel Yousef Obaid bin Harmoul, Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department (CPSD), and a number of heads of stations in Sharjah Police, with the participation of 50 shooters from various police stations in the Emirate.
The championship hosted a number of competitions at the team and individual levels, which resulted in the Comprehensive Police Stations Department team winning the first place, while the Buhaira Police Station team ranked second. At the individual level, Lieutenant Abdullah bin Hadda from Wasit Police Station won first place with a total of 95 points.
At the end of the event, Colonel Bin Harmoul honoured the teams that won the first places at the individual and team levels, and presented them with a shield of excellence.
He praised the honourable results they achieved in the championship and pointed to the need to maintain this high level that they presented in order to reach further development and progress in all areas of police work.
Colonel Bin Harmoul expressed his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for the support and follow-up provided to the policemen in various fields, and in providing them with the latest technologies applied globally in order to meet all the challenges they face in performing their multiple tasks.
He praised also the championship ranges and their readiness to receive the various competitions, and the performance of all participating teams in the championship and their excellence in terms of fitness and tactics of performance, which enhances their dealing with the various situations required by their work.
