SY’s graduates train their peers in disciplines of 7th art

Sharjah24: The "Sharjah Youth" of the "Rubu' Qarn" Foundation for the Industry of Leaders and Innovators launched the "From Scenario to Film" workshop within the "Cinematic Arts" program. It aims to provide the opportunity for its distinguished graduates to transfer their acquired knowledge and experiences to their peers among the affiliates of Sharjah Youth. In the ages from 13 to 18 years, to ensure the continuity and continuity of learning and testing their creativity in the field of training.
The "From Scenario to Film" workshop will be presented by writer and actor Ali Nabil Al-Amiri, and actor and film director Abdullah Muhammad Saleh, graduates of the Wasit Youth Center. The workshop includes many essential topics in the various disciplines of the seventh art, including researching ideas and how to develop them, the basics of scriptwriting, and how to write internal and external scenes. In addition, planning time and place, writing the characters and their specifications according to the events and transforming the story into a detailed scenario and dialogue to turn the work into a visual image.

The participants were acquainted with the types of films and their classifications, shooting angles, types of shots, camera movement, and the director's tasks through analyzing the scenario, selecting actors and technical work team according to his vision, in addition to choosing filming locations.

The participants were trained in the basics of editing, using the Adobe Premiere program, how to cut scenes and build events according to the dramatic sequence of the film, as well to add effects and soundtracks.
