Sharjah Youth learn technical skills in "Future Engineers"

Sharjah24 : "Sharjah Youth" under "Rubu' Qarn" Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators has wrapped up its program "Future Engineers - Self-driving Vehicles." The program aimed at qualifying its participants and providing them with the necessary skills to produce their projects using Raspberry Pi chips.
The computer engineer, Tariq Zaatar from Fun Robotics, presented the "Future Engineers - Self-driving Vehicles" program. During the workshop, he taught participants about the Raspberry Pi electronic components, programming using Python language, different types of electric motors, and how to assemble and program the components to build a self-driving vehicle. 

The participants had the chance to look at a live computer experience and learn how to install and use the camera in robots and Raspberry Pi pieces of processing images, track objects, and program robots to perform specific tasks. Participants were trained on the required map of tasks for local and global competitions.
