Sharjah24: As part of the "Learn" initiative organised by Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD); a training course on artificial intelligence was held, targeting 49 senior citizens, and beneficiaries of the department's services, in addition to a number of employees.
The course, which was organised "remotely", was presented by Dr. Amal Ibrahim Al Ali, Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah, discussing artificial intelligence, referring to the systems or devices that simulate human intelligence to perform tasks and that can improve themselves based on the information they gather.
She highlighted the importance of the features of artificial intelligence programs, stressing that this specialised course in artificial intelligence translates the Department's vision towards its plans in enhancing the use of modern technologies for the senior citizens category.
