Sharjah24: 'Hekayate' programme, broadcasted by Sharjah TV channel of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA) hosted His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police.
During the interview , which was hosted by Hassan Yaqoub Al-Mansoori, the personal and human side of Al Shamsi’s life, and what the public does not know about him as the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, were addressed. Al Shamsi expressed his passion of football game and his relation with the Sharjah Club since the seventies of the last century. 

"I don't want anything from the life , all I want is reputation and good morals." With this phrase, His Excellency Major General summed up everything he aspires to and what he seeks in his professional and personal career.

Al Shamsi pointed out that in every stage a person goes through his life and work, there are influential turning points that contribute to the formation of his personality.

Speaking about his police duties and the role he plays, Major General Al Shamsi stressed that the security of society is a “ Red Line”, affirming that dealing with people does not mean complacency in the application of regulations and laws, indicating that his keenness to implement the law and regulations. 

Al Shamsi revealed, through a video presented by the programme, the generous gesture of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, when His Highness, in a phone call with him, praised the efforts of the Sharjah Police at the Sharjah Book Fair in 2019, and said: "I came to the fair on its last day to thank the police team who presented innovative ideas in organising.
