Sharjah24: The Sharjah Municipal Council (SMC) held its meeting for the first regular session of the seventeenth annual semester, on Sunday 12 Safar 1443 AH corresponding to September 19, 2021 AD, in the presence of His Excellency Salem bin Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council (SMC) and members of the Council, who stressed that the main objective of the Municipal councils is to serve the members of community.

His Excellency Salem bin Ali Al Muhairi thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for issuing Emiri Decree No. “34” of 2021, regarding the invitation of the municipal councils in the Emirate of Sharjah to convene for the first regular session of the seventh annual term ten.

His Excellency affirmed, in exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", that under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, we always strive to reach citizens and residents who were unable to reach the municipal councils.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council added that the main objective of the councils is to meet the needs of the members of society, ensuring to resolve their problems and disputes between the citizens and the contractors, and receiving citizens' requests for land.
