HSC and IACAD discuss aspects of cooperation

Sharjah 24: The Hayawa Suburb Council (HSC) of the Sharjah Districts and Villages Affairs Department (SDVAD) and the branch of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Khorfakkan discussed aspects of joint cooperation and joint coordination for community service.
HSC and the branch of IACAD in Khorfakkan reviewed ways of promoting joint integration, coordinating exerted efforts, and exchanging visits, with the aim of introducing initiatives in raising people awareness within the the joint goals and plans of the Council and the Department.

Discussions were held in the meeting between the council and the department, in the presence of His Excellency Khalid Ahmed Buhendi, Chairman of the Hayawa Suburb Council, accompanied by a number of council members, Rashid Salem Al Naqbi, director of IACAD in Khorfakkan, and a number of the department's employees.

His Excellency Khalid Ahmed Buhendi, discussed the importance of communication with IACAD in Khorfakkan in relation to lectures and raising awareness, and he gave an integrated explanation of the council’s policies under the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah aiming at strengthening family relations and maintaining community cohesion, which is integrated with the plans of the Council and IACAD.

Buhendi stressed that Hayawa District Council sets in its plans a number of priorities that will achieve the goals promoting various services as well as raising awareness of individuals and playing a tangible social role among families, which is based on the noble Sharia.

His Excellency Rashid Salem Al Naqbi, Director of IACAD in Khorfakkan Branch, indicated that the department is keen to play a role and enhance communication with all institutions and authorities.  

Al Naqbi extended appreciation to the Hayawa District Council invitation to meet and cooperate to offer a number of different programmes.
