Sharjah 24: Al Thiqah Club celebrated the world champion Mohammed Al Qayed, in appreciation of his great achievement by achieving two “silver” and “bronze” medals, in the 800m and 100m competitions, as part of his participation in the Paralympic Games, which was held in the Japanese capital, Tokyo.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club, Kaltham Obaid, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Sports Committee, Abdulghafour Ali Al Raisi, Chairman of the Media Committee, and Haider Taleb Arbei, Secretary General of the World Disability Union, Badria Obaid Al Suwaidi, Head of the Culture and Community Development Committee, Maryam Ali Al Shehhi, Head of the Social Committee, Ahmed Salem Al Mazloum, Executive Director, and members of the club’s athletics team, attended the ceremony.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim also praised the historic achievement of the UAE world champion, Mohammed Al Qayed, noting that the achievements are the result of the unlimited support of the wise leadership.
In the same context, Ahmed Salem Hamad Al Mazloum, Executive Director of Al Thiqah Club, confirmed that Mohammed Al Qayed is achieving is the efforts of 4-year planning, highlighting that the board of directors stands with full force behind all players.
For his part, Mohammed Al Qayed, expressed happiness with this event, saying that his achievements come from the unlimited support of the wise leadership, as well as the support of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club.
