Sharjah24: The Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped discussed the future programs and activities, the operational plans of the Club’s various committees, its general budget proposal, as well as the most important external participations in which the sports teams participate and their various preparations for the upcoming international competitions.
This came during a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Trust Club for the Disabled, headed by His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped, in the presence of several other dignitaries.
His Excellency Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim expressed his thanks and appreciation to the members of the Board of Directors for their efforts during the previous period, praising the great role played by the various committees of the club in contributing to the gradual return of all activities and events, stressing that all committees exercise their plans while following all coronavirus precautionary measures.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed the report of the Technical Affairs and Gifted Care Committee and was familiarised with the preparations of the various teams in the club to participate in the upcoming local and international tournaments.
The Board of Directors also reviewed a report on the most important work of the World Disability Union and concluded the meeting by reviewing the club's general budget proposal, the regional office of the World Disability Union, and the Sharjah Office of Disabled-Friendly for the year 2022.
