Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) carried out inspection visits to monitor abandoned vehicles and shed light on the side effect of leaving the public's vehicles in dirt yards in a way that distorts the civilized appearance.
Mohammed Al Kaabi, head of the City's Cleanliness Control Department at SCM, confirmed that there are people are violating the law by leaving their vehicles, completely dirty, for long periods in dirt yards and public parking lots, which led the municipality to seize them.
During the first half of 2021, the municipality seized 3,911 vehicles that distorted the general appearance, and warn other owners of less dirty vehicles to maintain and clean them, noting that caring for them contributes to limiting their bad exploitation or theft.
