Sharjah 24: Salem Yousef Al Qaseer, Chairman of Sharjah Labour Standards Development Authority (SLSDA), confirmed that establishing the National Human Rights Authority (NHRA) enhances the position of the UAE in international forums in the fields of workers' rights.
He added that the establishment embodies the growing interest and keenness to achieve humanitarian principles, including contributing to the application of labour standards.
The SLSDA, established by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, was entrusted with the task of developing labour standards, especially workers’ rights and providing them with a decent life.
