Sharjah 24: The Social Education Department at Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) conducted an educational, awareness and entertainment programme entitled "Hello, my school" to educate and prepare students for the new scholastic year, with the aim of creating an entertaining and educational atmosphere for first and second grades students.
The programme, organised at the Jump World Centre, include entertaining events and activities, educational lectures, interactive workshops, competitions, games, and free shows for all participating children, helping students to welcome the new scholastic year.
The programme also included skills on how to develop educational plans.
Mariam Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of Social Education at SSSD, said that the Department always seeks to promote modern methods aiming at raising children community culture and awareness towards a confident generation able to preserve their national and social heritage.
The Director of Social Education explained that the programme targeted 150 students from various schools in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Jump World Centre.
She extended thanks for the centre's cooperation in organising the event, promoting the educational programme and receiving students.
She pointed out that SSSD is always keen to continue promoting joint work with various educational institutions and to consolidate the importance of cooperation with regard to society, especially children.
