Sharjah 24: The Electricity Services Department at Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) completed a number of development projects, in Al Mowrrada 1 to 8, in Al Suyoh Suburb, including the installation of 663 lighting poles and the extension of 3242-km electrical cables costing 30.866 million dirhams.
Engineer Hassan Al Zarouni, Director of the Electricity Services Department, confirmed that SEWGA continues to implement road lighting projects, which provide security and safety to residents in all regions of Sharjah.
Al Zarouni stressed that SEWGA is working to implement the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to empower roads and streets in all regions by LED streetlights, applying the latest technologies used in this field.
Engineer Hoda Al Tahri from the Electricity Services Department explained that completing street lighting projects in Sharjah is carried out through trained teams, using modern equipment according to the best specifications and comprehensive studies on the regions and their needs.
