Sharjah 24: During the first half of the current year 2021, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) completed the delivery of electricity services to 2023 locations from various residential, industrial, commercial, governmental, and agricultural categories at the city level of Sharjah.
This comes as part of SEWA's effort to meet the requests for electricity delivery as soon as possible, while maintaining the best security and safety systems. During the same period last year, electricity was delivered to 953 sites, representing a more than 100 percent increase.

Dr. Eng. Hassan Al Zarouni, Director of the Electricity Services Department, stated that SEWA is working to provide the best services to residents of the Emirate of Sharjah, develop performance, and apply best practices to help customers, as directed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Dr. Eng. Al Zarouni affirmed that electricity has been provided and operated in accordance with the best standards for security and safety.
