Al Sarkal highlights traits of a successful leader

Sharjah 24: Sharjah TV's "Molhemoon" programme, which airs on the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority's TV channel every Tuesday evening at 10 PM, featured His Excellency Marwan bin Jassim Al Sarkal, Executive Chairman of the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
Al Sarkal has highlighted the characteristics and qualities of good and successful leaders, stressing on the significance of taking responsibility and underscoring its important effects on the level of businesses. Reviewing the traits of the successful leaders, he stressed that these traits contribute to build a healthy work relationship with employees. 

During the programme, he reviewed the journey undertaken by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority in strengthening the environment of Sharjah with many tourism, entertainment and attractive projects for investment projects.

Al Sarkal commenced his speech by referring to his personal life in Japan, and his relationship with his father and grandmother, pointing out that he spent the years of his childhood  in Japan due to his father's job as a representative of the UAE in the capital, Tokyo, stressing that that period had a great impact on his personality.

Commenting on his childhood, he emphasised the great role of his mother and his grandmother, who instilled the value of the Arabic culture, enhancing his understanding of the importance of the Arabic language, as well as teaching him on the origins of religion and the culture and customs of our Emirati society. This contributes in promoting his understanding about his country’s local community.

Al Sarkal spoke also about his returning to Sharjah, stressing that it gained him a lot of knowledge that brought him to what he is currently. He also shed lights on his experience at the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), underscoring the mission of promoting the emirate as an investment.

He also encouraged employees to exert greater efforts and to give more of ourselves while conducting their tasks and duties at work.
